“Saye,” a Short Film by Our Graduates, Reaches the Finals of the TRT Future Communicators Competition
“Saye,” a short film produced by students of the Department of Cinema and Television at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Çankırı Karatekin University, has successfully reached the finals of the TRT Future Communicators Competition.
Directed by Eren Çağatay Sarıoğlu and with Duygu Mali serving as assistant director, the film was produced as part of the Production Workshop course offered within the curriculum of the Department of Cinema and Television. The production process was carried out under the supervision of Lecturer Mustafa Kocabınar, a member of the department’s academic staff.
Providing students with an opportunity to transform the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired throughout their education into a creative production, “Saye” has achieved notable recognition by advancing to the finals of a prestigious national competition. The film, produced by Eren Çağatay Sarıoğlu and Duygu Mali during their time as students and prior to their graduation this year, also stands as an example of how the practice-oriented education offered by the department is reflected in student productions.
As the Department of Cinema and Television, we congratulate the creative team behind “Saye” and their academic advisor, Lecturer Mustafa Kocabınar, on this achievement. We wish our graduates Eren Çağatay Sarıoğlu and Duygu Mali every success in the finals of the TRT Future Communicators Competition.
We are proud to continue following the future projects and achievements of our graduates in the fields of cinema and television.
